The PALASA HOTEL

Blending Tradition with Innovation: The Palasa Hotel & Villas Project Sets a New Standard in Contextual Architecture

XPlan Studio & Studio Precht proudly present one of its most ambitious and contextually sensitive projects to date, the Palasa Hotel & Villas, a masterful fusion of contemporary design and Mediterranean heritage. Inspired by the organic structure of traditional Mediterranean villages, the development introduces a fragmented architectural language that reflects variation, human scale, and harmony with the natural terrain. Composed of luxurious villas and a boutique hotel seamlessly embedded into the hillside, the complex avoids the appearance of large-scale construction by embracing a dispersed, low-rise composition that flows naturally with the topography. Each villa is thoughtfully arranged across three levels, offering spacious interiors, panoramic views, and private outdoor areas, all framed by a material palette of natural stone, warm plaster, and wood.

The hotel itself emerges discreetly from the slope, its tiered design offering uninterrupted sea and mountain views from nearly every room. Public spaces such as the lobby, restaurant, and panoramic bar are positioned for optimal functionality and guest experience, while a stunning infinity pool crowns the property, merging architecture and landscape into a singular, immersive experience. From the carefully curated interiors to the strategic zoning of public and private areas, every element is designed to elevate luxury while maintaining a deep respect for the surrounding environment. With the Palasa Hotel & Villas, XPlan Studio & Studio Precht redefines how modern architecture can respectfully coexist with nature, setting a new benchmark for design on the Albanian Riviera.
